The engineers have combined two types of special raw materials from Wacker to create this foundation makeup that holds nude makeup color. The makeup effect is clear and natural, providing a moist and non-drying finish. The formula incorporates 3% BELSIL® WO 5000 as an auxiliary emulsifier, harnessing the functional properties of organosilicon glycosides to decrease formula viscosity. This results in a lighter and thinner formula that enhances skin softness upon application.

Reduced viscosity never referring to unstable formula

Not only does the use of WO 5000 not affect the stability of the formula, but also it aids in dispersing polar solids (such as powders and ultraviolet absorbers) into silicone fluid. This prevents powder aggregation and sedimentation, making a smoother and more easily flowing formula. Therefore, for three-phase formula systems based on silicone fluid, organic solvents, and water, WO 5000 can also play a stabilizing role.

In addition to the ethoxylated glucoside group that helps retain moisture, REG 1103 B also incorporates an organosilicon ester group for film-forming properties and water resistance. This makes foundation makeup more skin-friendly, long-lasting, and less likely to smudge or fade.

The organosilicon ester group can enhance the smooth and delicate skin feeling, providing a pleasant experience. It also helps to evenly spread the foundation make-up formula, allowing for faster makeup setting without feeling sticky, which makes it extremely suitable for preparing liquid powder formulations.
