Civil Works to Be Completed by SANYOU for Silicone Monomers Project

Editor:ACMI/Silicone Aug-17-2023

Upon entering the construction site of Tangshan Sanyou Silicon Industry Co., Ltd (SANYOU) for 200 kt/a silicone monomers expansion project, we were greeted by the sight of several tower cranes gracefully waving their steel arms, while dedicated builders stood firmly in the factory. The progress of this project seemed unstoppable. Currently, 90% of the civil engineering work has been completed, and installation projects are being expedited. Three sections, namely 1200c, 1300c, and 950c have successfully met joint testing requirements. All tasks are being carried out in an organized and efficient manner to achieve our established goals.

In order to successfully implement the Three Transformations strategy of SANYOU, despite facing tight deadlines and heavy tasks, they have scientifically organized and coordinated our efforts. They have comprehensively implemented the "Five Ones" work mechanism, which includes having one construction unit, one responsible leader, one accountable person, one cohesive team, and ensuring that every task is followed through until completion. Additionally, we closely monitor project progress, plan meticulously, enforce strict standards, and execute swiftly.

In this summer, SANYOU has implemented various measures to ensure the safety and progress of on-site construction. These include adjusting work schedules to avoid high-temperature periods, providing heatstroke prevention and cooling materials and medications to all project construction personnel, and conducting rigorous safety inspections. Additionally, in response to any issues or weaknesses in project construction, SANYOU adopts a problem-solving approach by strictly adhering to deadlines for issue resolution, increasing scheduling frequency and efforts towards resolution, ensuring timely elimination of problems.
